On the 21st and 22nd October I'm one of the many author taking part in the first ever UK Festival of Romance. http://festivalofromance.co.uk/#
My good friend Talli Roland, the author of funny and pacy chic-lit stories is also taking part.

Talli has three loves in her life: chick lit, coffee and wine. Born and raised in Canada, she now lives in London, where she savors the great cultural life (coffee and wine). Despite training as a journalist, Talli soon found she preferred making up her own stories – complete with happy endings. Her first novel, The Hating Game, was an Amazon UK best-seller, remaining in the top 100 for over two months, and she’s just released her second, Watching Willow Watts. Talli blogs here and can be found on Twitter here.
Although she younger, thinner and blonder than i am it is still my delight to welcome her as a guest blogger on my website.
Firstly, Talli, what are you looking forward to at the Festival of Romance?
I like nothing more than talking about books, books and… books! So that’s what I’m looking forward to most, apart from drinking wine and eating chocolate, of course. I can’t wait to meet lots of other romance lovers. Lovers of romance. You know what I mean!
And what will you be doing at the Festival of Romance?
I will be taking part in a chick lit panel along with Sue Moorcroft and Juliet Archer, two wonderful authors. It should be an interesting discussion! And, somehow, I’ve agreed to appear in my Marilyn Monroe costume in the Authors’ Fashion Show. I may live to regret that decision.
Now tell me why should romance readers come to the Festival?
It’s a great opportunity to meet other readers in a fantastic venue, and interact with some fantastic authors like Carole Matthews. I can’t think of a better way to spend a weekend!
Thanks,Talli, and I look forward to catching up with you face to face at the Festival
